Laval - Jour overture

On April 28 2007, STM opened the long-awaited extension of the Orange Line from Henri Bourassa to Montmorency with three new stations, all in Laval. As much of a transportation geek as I am, I had never been on the opening day of a new train line. These are my photos from a trip that day, while carrying the 6 month old Giraffe in his backpack.

Thanks for the updated link, and congrats on your move and settling in!

We bought all used appliances, and my (electric) stove is an Inglis brand - which I had never heard of - and I love it. I am an avid cook and yet have somehow always had electric stoves - you will get used to it. theh important thing is to learn your particular stove and regulate the heat carefully. Make sure you get controls that are highly adjustable.

What's a steamie?

And the pottery is really beautiful!
