Laval - Jour overture

  • Cremazie wall
On April 28 2007, STM opened the long-awaited extension of the Orange Line from Henri Bourassa to Montmorency with three new stations, all in Laval. As much of a transportation geek as I am, I had never been on the opening day of a new train line. These are my photos from a trip that day, while carrying the 6 month old Giraffe in his backpack.

Bienvenue! I don't know if, as a parttime resident, I can "officially" welcome you, but welcome anyway from someone who shares some of your background. I hope things continue to go pretty smoothly for you in this wonderful city. By the way, K.'s pottery is beautiful - is it going to be available anywhere?

Daniel

It will at some point - she is more modest than she should be about her work - but that's just one more thing I love. She was quick to find a cermaics class (at the Visual Arts Center in Westmount) and she will find a way to sell it somewhere. Almost everything that she made in Chicago was sold or given away before we left so it will be newer and most likely better pieces to come.
